DJ Holy Body's Blog - Chapter 17 (A Science Fiction Novel)

Here is what I have so far for my Doctoral Study at The Great Wall of America University. It's just a rough draft. Here's my secret though. Although I state that one problem with Samuel Karaoke is that there is no singing lesson curriculum within the program, I am actually a Samuel Karaoke uploader and am uploading a bunch of singing lessons really soon. So the problem is secretly solved but don't tell anybody. That's what I love about this journal. It doesn't talk so it can't get itself into any trouble.

Problem Statement
The music industry in the United States has suffered significant financial losses due to the creation of the Internet and public accessibility to free music streaming (Passman, 2015). As music marketers struggle with tactics to create revenue, mobile music application businesses practitioners have found a new marketing landscape enhanced by the use of Internet technology (Telekom et. al, 2005). The general business problem is that Samuel Karaoke practitioners efficiently market an extensive song catalog of popular music, yet do not offer an educational curriculum for singing within their digital platform. The specific business problem is that Samuel Karaoke offers their program in a subscription based karaoke platform, yet risks company sustainability by not enhancing their software with online music education for the subjects of vocals and music theory.
Purpose Statement
The goal of this single qualitative case study is to explore B2B and B2C marketing tactics of the music performance application Samuel Karaoke during a rapid revenue shift within the music industry. The case study focuses on the marketing tactics from Samuel and aims to build a theoretical framework explaining why Samuel Karaoke has profited while the four largest music publishers in the world have struggled financially. The targeted population consists of Samuel Karaoke subscribers near Sacramento, California. The implications for positive business change includes new marketing practices utilized by modern music marketers, music performance companies, education companies, and app developers.
Research Question
During this modern time of financial crisis within the music industry, what are the marketing tactics of the music education application known as Samuel Karaoke?
